Jáchym graduated from the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in 2020 and continues his postgraduate studies of the neuro-visual system and its connection with the musculoskeletal system.
Since 2018, he has been working at Prof. Pavel Kolar's Centre of Movement Medicine, where he works primarily with patients with functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. His expertise is in working with the athletic population and the full extent that their care requires. In 2023, he completed additional training with Dr. Brett Winchester in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He gained vital experience working with their top athletic therapists during his internship at Dr. Winchester's clinic.
Jáchym also works with the Czech junior national water slalom team (canoe, kayak) and the Czech senior national orienteering team. He was the head physiotherapist for the American football team - Prague Lions - for six years. Jáchym was part of the medical team for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, where he took care of the water slalom team.
In his practice, Jáchym combines neuro-visual training with the concepts and principles of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization. The goal is to improve central processing and the orientation in space to optimize the quality and accuracy of movement in both the athletic and neurological patient populations.
Jáchym, once a competitive tennis athlete, now participates actively in various sports because, for him, movement is life.
